Molar Soultions
reflection:
what is molarity?
Molarity and molality are both measures of concentration of solutions. One is the ratio of moles to volume of the solution and the other is the ratio of moles to the mass of the solution.

Protocol:
in this lab experiment was o see if the mass of the potato increased with matter but with different amount of sugar inside. we had 5 different cups 1 cup had simply water in it the other cup had 20.62g of sugar 3rd cup had 34.2g 4th cup had 47.88g 5th cup had 78.4g of sugar each cup had to have a diffrent potato piece in it but before we put the potato in we had to measure the mass of it.
-5 cups step 1: measure amount of sugar
step 2: full cups with water
step 3: weight the potato
step 4: place the potato in the cup filled with water
step 5: cover the cup with a wax paper
step 6: label each cup
step 7: take picture (wait for results the following day)
