In this lab we put a small dott of color in two diffrent strips we used to small beakers with two diffrent solvent in one beaker we had water in the other beaker it contained alcohol. In this lab we proved that water was more saluable than alcohol by recording the time that the colors started to dissolve up the paper strip. in 15 min the solvent with water the colors where up on the strip but it took alcohol 45 minutes to actually seperate the colors to the same distance as water.
