restriction endonucleases is an enzyme produces chiefly by certain bacteria having the property of cleaving DNA molecules at or near a specific sequence of bases. The ends of the cut have an overhanging piece of single-stranded DNA. These are called "sticky ends" because they are able to make base pairs with any DNA molecule that has the complementary sticky end. Any other source of DNA treated with the same enzyme will make those molecules molecules. once the sticky end bond back with each other by connecting them with the sticky end the DNA then again become a new DNA and is formed again.
